History :
Dear sirs,
Circa December of 2009 a local citizen of the area near Suggerath discovered the presence of a pair of WWII soldier graves within a grove of trees. The subsequent report led to the recovery and positive identification of the remains of Pfc Edward L. O'Toole.
Thus, on Friday July 15, 2011, Edward's remains came home to be provided with a final interment, including full military honors at Golden Gate National Cemetary, in San Bruno, California. This re-unification enabled him to rejoin his war veteran brother. Michael, who had been intered in the same gravesite since 1951. This closure also enabled the family members to know answers to other family questions.
If there are any other bits of information that can be forwarded to this address it would be greatly appreciated. We are particularly interested in being able to pinpoint the precise location where Eddie's remains were formerly put to rest in the grove of trees.
