Basekgoma Exhibition

This was a solo exhibition of the Kachikau Born Gatang Mologasele depicting the history of Batawana in paintings.

In the exhibition that was part of Debswana\'s social investment programme and through a project called Healing Art; the mining giants gave Mologasele a chance to showcase his paintings at their headquarters. The pieces were to be used for the Healing Art project, which aims to collect artworks for display at health facilities around the country.

Mologasele tried in coming up with the paintings to provide an insight into the emergence of Kachikau village in the Chobe District and its strong links to the Batawana chieftainship wrangles, which resulted in the morafe splitting into two groups.
