About village :

Ngamoki, a village comprising of two quarters, Mabando and Mapanja is located on latitude 501’12”N and longitude 9012’26”E and is about 1526m asl. The upper quarter, Mapanja is located on latitude 4059’34”N and longitude 9012’47”E. Ngamoki is under Toko sub-Division in the division of Ndian, South West Region of Cameroon. It is bounded at the north by Moboka Ngolo, Northwest by Dikome Ngolo, West by Iwasa Ngolo, South and Southwest by the Korup forest reserves, and in the East by Madie Ngolo.

About your experience :

The village has a climate which is tropical and wet, showing a very long rainy season that starts from April and ends in November. The dry season is from November to March. The average temperature in Ngamoki ranges from 120C to 200C in July and 180C to 280C in January. Winds are frequent and precipitation is regular. Vegetation is vast and dense and consists of various shrubs and tree species. Wildlife abounds and includes monkeys, deers, duikers, antelopes, pangolins, porcupines, squirrels, etc and a variety of birds and frog species. Other resources include clays, rattan, timber, country onions (Afrostyrx cameroonensis) which is used as condiment in most Cameroonian dishes, etc. Ngamoki is cut by many rivers among which are Komboke and Nwokolibe. Ngamoki is a land of great diversity. If you trek across Ngamoki you will pass through the green forest, ford though great rivers, wander through high plains and meet a diverse group of people.
