The mosque in Kçiqi i madh village is located in the center of village. The mosque was build by the funds collected from the inhabitants of Kçiqi i madh and other contributers.

There are around 1,000 students in the primary school in Kçiqi i madh village. The school is named \"Hivzi Sylejmani\" in honor of the well known writer Hivzi Sylejmani. The new school was build on the early \'90 because old building was very old. The new school building is build on the early \'90 by the contribution of local inhabitants. During the war in Kosovo the school building has served as shelter for thousands of refugees. During the war school building was heavily destroyed by Serb military forces. When the NATO troops liberated Kosovo also Kçiqi i madh was liberated. International NGO have invested in order to rebuild the heavily damaged school.

People of Kçiqi village are very thankful to NATO and all goodwill people who contributed for liberation of Kçiqi i madh village and entire Kosovo.
