Amangal village is a big village with about 2000 acres of land under irrigation from grand old tank, Lift Irrigation faclities and Musi project and also bore wells Etc. Farmers are moderan and they not only produce Paddy, but also Cotton, pulses, and Castor.The village is having fruit orchards to the extent of 100 acres mostly Mango, and mosambi. Lands are suitable for cottongrowing being black and also red soil suitable for dry crops and growing fruit bearing trees

Amangal village is having hoary past having existing since kaktiya period of twelfth century. Kaktiya kings constructed Sri Ramalingeswara temple and huge Tank beside temple fulfilling the physical and religious needs of the people.Sri Ramalingeswara Temple with its location on a hillock with steps attract thousands of people on Holy Day (Kartika Purnima Day). It is celebrated as Celestial marriage.Piligrims from faraway places like Nalgonda, Suryapet and miryalguda attend the religipus function on that day and celebrate Kamadahanam,people walking on fire without fear.Number of Buses will come from nalgonda, Miryalguda and Suryapet on that day.The tank beside the temple is a marvellous one irrigating 1000 acres of land .Thus ,both spiritual and pysicalneeds of the inhabitents were taken care by kaktiya Kings and Nizam Government was also gracious enough to donate 50 acres of land to the temple.Another importent development is construction of Sri Ramalingeswara lift Irrigation canals thereby more than 600acres of land is being irrigated ubder nagarjuna sagalLeft canals.

An histirical temple by name Sri Ramalingeswara Temple is located on a hillock beside large Tank in amangal village.Lingakara shivalingam made of sand is reverred and celetial marriage is celebrated for 3 days during Holi festival .Kama a deceitful devata representing the bad traits of human beings like Kamam.moham,jealosy etc will be burnt and in that fire people will traverse with glee showing their happyness for dystroying bad.A fair will also run attracting local made goods, animals,and other agricultural goods to be sold and purchased.Thousands of people come fromfar away palces including from Nalgonda, Miryalguda and Suryapet.The three days of the function is a treat to watch with tank and temple side by side on full moonday.

South of Suryapet town 15 kilmeters and north of Miryalguda town 20 kilometeres away. It is well connected to Suryapet Town by Bus Route operating 25 services daily as well as from miryalguda Town in nalgonda District of Andhrapradesh.
