Koghuzi.
A beautiful green village 20 kilometers from town chital on Mastuj road. koghuzi has a population of 21242 as according to population census 1998.Having around 3 maktab schools a primary and two high schools without sicience teachers this village has a relatively higher litracy rate. Land of friendly people Koghuzi has no friendly behavior from government of Pakistan. Poor health facility with a Rural health center without Doctor, medicine and with poor management, people rely on either the District head quarter hospital some 21 km away in Chitral town. this 20 km becomes very long in that poor condition risky road. or mostly they go for self medication. For lively hood people mostly dependent on Government sector.

Mosques: There are six mosques in various locations along side the main mastuj road. First one while travelling from Chitral town comes 1.5 km inside koghuzi. the beautiful Mordeh Mosque. Second mosque deep inside the village only for locals called Tori moldeh mosque.which is hardly accessible to the travellers. Laie Mosque (decorated Mosque) is the third one in the center of Koghuzi. Fourth mosque is Masjid Kallan (the big mosque)in the heart of koghuzi next to the main hospital RHC Koghuzi just at the main road. Fifth mosque just before WAPDA Colony. Sixth mosque in the main road hardly 500 meters after Wapda colony.

There is on Rural health center RHC in the center of Koghuzi near TorDeh. this hospital serves only basic health services needs.Paramedics staff will available 8 hours a day from 830 in the morning till 2:00 in the after noon. please note that no medicine is given to the patients. only prescription will be available.For emergencies one person from paramedical staff will be available 24 hours. Availability of ambulance driver depends on the patient's luck. Again for critical cases you can buy medicine from near by drug store. For women and special cases better you skip this and go to District headquarter hospital DHQ 20km away in Chitral town.
