About village :
Pitombayog is a village south of Mayantoc town proper. Its about 7 kilometer from the municipal hall. Paved road leads you to our village passing thru Mamonit and Pidro L. Quines (once a part of Pitombayog. Pitombayog housed the biggest secondary school in the whole town of Mayantoc, the Pitombayog National High School. It has 5 churches, the Roman Catholic, Iglesia ni Cristo, the Blessing Church, Pentecostal Church, Baptist Church. Majority of the population belongs to the Roman Catholic Church. It has also its own cemetery that is used also by adjacent villages. The main industry is farming but other also engage in livestock raising and aquaculture. Internet and cellular phones are also avilable having a globe transmission in bantay lima.
Wholesaling is one business Pitombayog residents are proud of. Villegas Wholsale/Retain business remains the cheapest in terms of prices even cheaper than a poblacion establishment.
Among its natural beauty is the famous PANICNOL a chocolate shaped hill and its vast ricefields.
