About village :

The village was founded in the early 1901 by Chikomeni Katawa Nyasulu.He married five wives and had more than thirty five children among them was Grevetti Moyo Nyasulu father of David,Issah,Sellah Joseph,Maggie Alick and Sallah Nyasulu.The village is situated at the northen tip of Nkhatabay district only accessible through sea by eithe MV Illala or local steam boats.There are no any normal connectivity.Major activity for the people is peasant farming,local scale fishing
