\\\'\\\'Ghorahi \\\'\\\'\\\' is a municipality of [[Inner Terai Valleys of Nepal#Dang and Deukhuri Valleys|Dang Valley]], [[Dang Deokhuri District]] of [[Rapti Zone]], southwest [[Nepal]].Earlier it was known as Tribhuwannagar but after republication it was changed.It is the second largrst city of mid western region of nepal. Ghorahi can be reached by the road that goes 23 kilometers North from Lamahi, a small town on the [[East west highway]].==Transportation==Roads connect Ghorahi to Rukum, Rolpa, Piuthan and Salyan districts. A new road links ghorahi to [[Birendranagar]], Surkhet.It is the one of the route to one of the seven pilgrims of nepal ; sworgadwari.Road connecting to gharti gaun and liwang of rolpa are in high priority of government passing the way by ghorahi. A branch road from [[Tulsipur, Rapti|Tulsipur]] to the west crosses Dang valley to Mahendra highway from the west, allowing for easy contact to [[Nepalgunj]] and [[Mahendranagar]].The roads for the cement factories under construction to mines are in way to completion. There is a domestic airport[[Ghorahi Airport|airport]], with the code DNG, 23 [[kilometre]]s from city.So, it is also a transit to and around mid and far western region of nepal.==Population==The population in 2010 was over 90000 in more than 40000 households.The municipality is granting permissions to construct new houses under legal provision.As regarded one of the new capital state of federal nepal,the ninward migration rate is intolerabely high.==Education==Ghorahi is home to both Mahendra Multiple College and [[Nepal Sanskrit University]].It supports as a educational hub of students from mid western region.It bears alot of rducational institutions from Primary to higher level.The only sanskrit university is holded by it.It also act as a survior of funds and educational materials as it is nurtured with district education office and sajha prakashan.==Health==A sub regional level hospital along with child hospital,eye hospital and regional ayurveda hospital are survuing the people here.Many other private and community level hospital are providing 24 hrs service to the dwellers of rapti region here.< br />==Drinking Water and sanitation==Ghorahi municipality has been won the way to quench the thirst of citizens with many drinking water projects as ghorahi khanepani , bharatpur khanepanee and other locals. Many deep level water suppliers are also in run with some mineral water industries.Ghorahi municipality has won the entire title of \\\"Most clean and sanitated city\\\" as it has managed its sanitation project with landfill site.< br />==Industries and industrial development==Ghorahi has its industrial site in its 7th ward with huge possibility of industrial development.
