About village :

Ameke(Eke nwa ude enwu) Ngwo is an autonomous community in Ngwo Enugu state and is one of the ten sons of Ngwo nwa ngwu aku which he is the second son of ngwo and he got married and they begot their children Umuezeani, Ifueke and Ibute. Umuezeani in Ameke was made up of two various villages Umuozo and Umuchi. While in the other two sons’ of Ameke, Ifueke and Ibute there is nothing like that, which was the reason why in Ameke they normally share things in four groups if the Ameke autonomous community have anything in common, like money, properties and so on. In Umuozo umuezeani who eventually metamorphosed into the Two son’s called ‘’umunna’’ 1.Ude(umu-ude),2.Ogbanaa(umu-ogbanaa) comprises of unekwu, a.Ozongwu ‘Umuozoungwu’ b. Ozoalor ‘Umuozoalor’ c. Ozoalorokeagu ‘Umuozoalorokeagu’, while in Umuchi Umuezeani who eventually metamorphosed into Two son’s called ‘’umunna’’ as well 1.Ewe(umu-ewee) comprises of unekwu, a.Aninwaonoh ‘Umuaninwaonoh’ b.Alornwaoguji ‘Umualornwaoguji’ c.Agunwaezi ‘Umuagunwaezi’and 2.Ekwuo(umu-ekwuo) comprises of unekwu, a.Uwenu ‘Umuuwenu’ b.Uwaani ‘Umuwaani’. In Ifueke they have Two Umunna’s, 1.Okeagu (Umuokeagu) 2.Anionyia (Umuanionyia). And in Ibute there is Four Umunna 1. Ozoanyawaa (Umuozoanyawaa) 2.Uheree (Umuuheree) 3.Amabor (Ambaboribute) 4.Ngwunsiekpee (Umungwunsiekpee).
