Bunkure is a local Govt about 50km south from the ancient city of Kano State, the town is blessed with a suitable and fertile land for rice farming, maize among others. Apart from that their are intelligent people in the village some of which have degrees and even professors.Like Dr yahaya Isa , Dr Umar lawal among others there are gifted children in the Town like Salisu fasaha, a boy who was found to have invented a local radio station in 2006.
