Village Administration :

The village is under the administration of the traditional ruler of the village,the Elegbeda of Egbeda kingdom Oba Samson Alade Balogun Ilemobade Omoya 1 crowned in 1999 and received the staff to office under the Governor of Lagos state at that time,his Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed tinubu.

NGO / volunters :

There are several NGO's in Egbeda kingdom, the most notable is the youth organisation within the community.In time past was the Amalgamated youth forum,Egbeda youth forum.Most recently is Egbeda youth mandate which was formed on 10th August 2008 with the sole aim to serve as a formal representation to the enitire youths of the community.The Patron of this youth organisation is Alh Tajudeen Mobolaji from the Bello Ojo Olabisi compound in Egbeda town, the group consist of Egbeda natives.
The first President of Egbeda youth mandate is Kehinde Abolade2008-2011,while the current President is Murtala Ibrahim Olore from the Olore compound in Egbeda kingdom.
Egbeda youth mandate has involved in a lot of developement programs which include,Egbeda childrens day festival which is one of the biggest festival in Egbeda today,thursday enviromental clean up,hosting of a house in Ebenezer primary school,Egbeda.The current trophy in use in Ebenezer primary school was donated by Egbeda youth mandate.
The current social director of Egbeda youth mandate is Yemi Osho from the Osho compound in Egbeda kingdom.

During the first tenure of the President of Egbeda Youth mangate from 2009-2011, under the leadership of Mr Kehinde Abolade, the vice president was Sunday Onipede,secretary was Gbenga Adeoti, financial secretary was Ibrahim Murtala Olore,chief whip Musibau Adebisi, Treasurer Yussuf Opebiyi and the chairman organising commitee Rasheed Sewele Murphy.The recent Present from 2011-till date is Mr Murtala Ibrahim Olore, the vice president is Prince Deji Fadina, the financial secretary Azeez Akindele, the social director Mr Yemi Osho,the treasurer is Rasheed Murphy sewele, while the chairman organizing committee is Mr Yussuf Opebiyi.With promising youths within the community we can only hope for the best.

One of the tourist places in Egbeda is the palace of Elegbeda of Egbeda kingdom, this is indeed a master piece of its own. This is the most notable and it is located on Kareem Laka street, Egbeda.

There are several shops within Egbeda kingdom which are built for sales and services, store and wharehouse.

There are several shopping complexes within the community, these include Amori complex, Alhaji Ere shopping complex, Solaron shopping complex, Mokola shopping complex at Egbeda.

The two largest markets in Egbeda include, Olugbede market and the Egbeda market.The Baba Oja of the market is Alhaji kamorudeen Laka. Although due to high demand for shops within Egbeda kingdom there is hardly a house without a shop built infront of it, due has made every part of Egbeda a potential market.
