Festival :

In Egwedhe Town,we have the\\\\\\\'Uthuete Festival\\\\\\\'which is celebrated annually.In Egwedhe history,Uthuete was a\\\\\\\'God of War and Invisibility\\\\\\\'which after praying and performing rituals in the Shrine,the Egwedhe warriors become invisible.Also,when you cut them matchets or shoot them with guns,it never penetrates or harm them.In the 18th century,when Great Iliboku of Ellu conquered Ozormo,(now Ashaka),Uthuete was used by Kwokori people (now Egwedhe) to fight,kill all Great Iliboku soldiers.Only him managed to escape.Hence,till this modern day,it becomes a deity of worship and festivity of people of Egwedhe.Uthuete is the God which protects all indigenes of Egwedhe all over the world.
