If the otun oba onidimu Alhaji chief mukadasi agoro olorunfunmi can in his conversations with royal mirror magazine published in aug/sep 2012.said that the madarikan of olorunfunmi family and the olugoke family the present oba family were the two founder of idimu,according to the history of the land (idimu) there were five families in idimu while three of the five families are the ruling families namely;olugoke,olorunfunmi,ogunronbi and olugbede. imesan the king maker While the others branch families from each families mentioned above are olusesi,idungboni to mention few. The history of idimu indicates that all these mentioned family are hunter and farmers who migrated from various part of awori land mainly from isale eko and otta.
