I have traced my great great grandfather to Tudorkowice, Ukraine. His name was Joannis Krawczuk: his son was Josef Krawczuk (my great grandfather). Josef immigrated to Canada in 1907 landing in Halifax Nova Scotia. Josef's first wife died after giving birth to 3 children: Anne, Stephen, & ____. His 2nd wife (Julia Chudzyk) whom he married in 1892 came to Canada with him and six other children. Anne stayed behind in Ukraine because she was already married.
They were Ukrainian Greek Catholic, although Julia may have been Roman Catholic.
I would like to find Josef's siblings and also information about his father & mother, and possible relataives I have living there. I want to know if any of the family immigrated in other years to North America.
There are many Krawczuk, Krawchuk, Kravchuk, Krowchuk families in Canada and US, and also in South Americal and United Kingdom who immigrated from Ukraine.
