About village :
The Village of Zelenyy Hay is purely residential and agricultural. There are virturally no retail or business of commerce in the village. It's main features are the Orthodox Ukrainian Church and a well kept cemetery. The town itself is a step into the past. There is a school and homes are well kept and most important, the people are very friendly. I visited Zilenyy Hay in 2008 and was saddened by the lack of progress in the town, but amazed and appreciative of the hospitality I received. I was there on an acestoral search of my great grandparents. I would go back and hope to in the future.
