There is a mail friendship between a 30 year old women from Okogbo and me, a german from Berlin. We try to compare living conditions in both places, compare prices and offer a sort of authentication service between both countries, with the possibility to get a picture story about other candidates for friendship or marriage, so to provide background information and a bit of control about how true a told story is. Another idea to find synergy effects, so to issue a list of skills availabe in a village so that no longer everybody keeps his skills secret but shares it with others.Example: I was told, that there is no mecanization in farming yet, in Okogbo, no functioning electricity supply, no landline telephone, no water purificatio or distribution, in fact, no communal infrastructure at all. I then asked my fried to show me pictures of how things were in her village, and she replied, this would not be possible, because one could not even take pictures of houses without beeing asked to pay for it - what I think, is a better joke !So I would find it interesting to see, how far photovoltaic solutions are in use, same for all ather media like clean drinking water, etc.My own skills: I was a helping plumber in ermany for 12 years, can drive a digging machine to lay pipes (fresh water or used water evacuation) and house installation. I was thinking of having once a look at this village. I am as well radio amateur, so able to make worldwide short wave connections, interested in microcontrollers, computers, electric and electronic, weldering, house refitting, tyling, landscaping - and would like to make contacts in those fields.
