About village :

Zaura village is located nine kilometres from Dagauda in the North-East direction. Zaura village has been one of the headquarters of the three Dagaci administrative areas answerable to the District Head of Dagauda. September 2012 came to establish a new landmark in the history of Zaura village. The rationale behind this assertion lies in the September 2012 Bauchi Government's letter which officially confirmed Zaura Area as a District curved out of Dagauda District. This development turns the Chief of Zaura in to a fully pledged District Head and his administrative area in to a District. Zaura area happens to be a vast expanse of land with many populated villages scattered all about the entire perimeter of its land. Such villages include Ngaima, Azeku, Jamare, Taiyu, Tayum, Garin Njarum, Nganani, to mention but afew.

The conventional turbing of the new Zaura District head detached from the Dagauda Distict-Head-hood was witnessed on 21 December 2012. The earlier information about Zaura only made known the confirmation of the throne.
