About village :

Zaure village is presentlly under the lime light to becoming the headquarter of a newly created Dagaci area to be curved out from Gargawa Dagaci area of Dagauda district. This emanates from the intention of Bauchi state governmemt to create more Districts and Dagaci areas in the state.

The present day chief of Zaure is under the name of Muhammed Lawan who inherited the throne from his late father. Muhammed Lawan is the fourth chief of Zaure in the lineage ever since it was established. He is a health worker attached to the Federal Health Centre Azare in Bauchi state. The casual village administration of Zaure village has been entrusted to his uncle malam Sabo Tela who deputizes for him.

November 25, 2013 made a big inpact in the history of zaure village. It was the long awaited in which Sarkin Zaure was turban-made the Dagaci of Zaure Area. The turbanning was done by His Royal Highness the Emir of Misau at his palace.

History :

Zaure village came to be in 1930. The onerus task of establishing the village is creditted to the venturesome ex-chief of Dagarau and again ex-chief of Aido who left the chieftaincies of his former kingdoms firmly entrusted to his junior brothers. Dagarau where his first palace was is located only 7 km away south of Bulkachuwa whereas, Aido Village is 23 km away north of the same Bulchuwa town. This venturesme, knight-like traveller is called \\\'Adamu the King\\\". Before firmly grounding Zaure village, there used to exist karaikarai farm settlements spread about at short distances. One of the achievements of Adamu the King included the attraction of Qur\\\'anic teachers namely malam Ahmadu and his brother malam Muhammadu all of them natives of Lanzai town. Another Qur\\\'anic teacher namely malam Adamu later came and settled there to further enrich Islamic teaching in the then rapidly assembling village. His other achievement was that of congregating the scattered karaikarai farm settlements around his domain integrating them until a Market village was formed which has\\\"een operating every Tuesday.

Zaure village is located on longitude 11.21E, latitude 11N. It is about 11 Km to the east of Dambam, the headquater of Dambam LGA. From Dagauda the HQ of Dagauda district, it is around 10KM in the NWW direction.
