About village :
Garatian is a small village in the district Gujrat Punjab Pakistan.The village is named after a spiritual leader who came here many centuries ago.Though there was also a roman king with the name of Garatian, but there is no link between them.

Temple / Church / Mosque/ Gurdwara :
There are four mosques in the village.People celebrate Eid Milad E Mustafa peace be uppon him with full spirit and also monthly 11 of Ghouse Azam by donating generously.According to hearsay stories there used be Hindu {Khatri} community in the village and some evidence of these are site near the north side of the village a place call Tibian .

Route guide :
The main route is from Dinga to Kamala and than a narrow street road from the village of kamala ,it takes roughly about half an hour on the public transport from dinga to reach the alternatively the other route is to reach the stream bridge near Kamala on the main Mongowal/dinga road there is a sign of the village name .This road is in a much more better condition than the other one.
If you are comeing from Gujrat-dinga route than take left from the matwanawala village and crossing gumti you will reach in the garatian this is much quicker and safe but a word of caution avoid this rout in moonsoon season.
