History :

i plan to visit padhana to trace my ancestor who was a part of contigent of sikh soldiers sent by maharaja rangit singh in 1820 to assam to fight against Burma to help Oham king of assam. he never returnedto the village but settelled down in assam after having got defeated in the battle of Hadia chakki in Goalpara.
some one to help me to go througgh old land records of the village to connect the family of ancestors.

Dear Kuldeep Ji ,I am Sameer Joshi,my forfathers belonged to this village.I am glad to see that you are also keen to know more about Padhana.The only thing I know that my forfathers lived for more than 500years there and had good ties with local Sandhu Jatts.

The lineage of my forfathers:Goverdhan Das s/o Tulsi Das s/o Laxman Das s/o S.Teja Singh
(Laxman Das B/o Shankar Das and S.Teja Singh B/o S.Ganda Singh.

After partition they moved to Amisha village Dist. Amritsar crossing the border towards India.I will be obliged if you can get me more information about the place,people and culture
