About village :

Moomane village is a village community that lies about 30km east of the Marble Hall farming town. The village falls under the Greater Marble Hall local municipality, now Ephraim Mogale local municipality. There is a primary school, Moomane Primary and their high school is Ngale Secondary school. In terms of road infrustructure there is a gravel road that links Phokoane village, Mathukuthela, Gareagopola,Manotolwaneng, Moomane, Mogaladi, Masanteng, and at Letebejane the gravel road joins a tarred road from Apel Cross (Ga-Masemola),this gravel road is an old road that was used by the old South African Railway busses to transport migrant labourers to/from Pretoria, Johannesburg and other towns to the now Greater Sekhukhune district and it is sad to note that the road is still not tarred in 2013, applicable authorities should take note of service delivery issues like this and give due priority.Moomane village falls under chief Marishane\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s chieftancy and the people speak mainly North Sotho( Sepedi), other languages include Zulu (Maphanga\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s place), Swazi(Manotolwaneng and Gareagopola) and Sepulana(Seruleng). The village is split into sections: Moomane A, Moomane B and Motseleope and community life is peaceful, upliftng and appealing. The nearest town is Marble Hall, now called Ephraim Mogale. There are other neighbouring villages like Mohlotsi, Mohlalaotwane, Mmotwaneng, Sephotho, Makhutso, Legotong, Ga-Mampana, Tsimanyane, Goru etc and one thing I have noticed is that there is peaceful co-existance and collaboration between all these neighbouring villages. The area is mainly rural and still need development, water, sewerage and sanitation, libraries, school laboratories and other modern amenities still have to be introduced and developed.
